The Grain Jar series has enjoyed success in dozens of national juried exhibitions. They represent our abilty to store grain, which coupled with agriculture to become the defining characteristic of human civilization. Architectural lids protect their inner contents, even though they mostly reside in livingrooms to tell their story. 
This piece won the Juror's Choice Award in the Strictly Function Exhibition.
